Rebreather Diving
Deciding whether to become a rebreather diver is a big decision. Rebreathers cost a lot of money, and competence can often take time including many dives. Plus, taking them on holiday can be a pain.
But there are great rewards for putting time and energy into rebreather diving. The learning curve maybe hight but it is fun once the first few hurdles are overcome. The benefits include longer bottom times, much cheaper trimix dives, and potentially close encounters with marine life.
Travelling with rebreathers
Until the late 2000s – early 2010s it was not easy to take your rebreather somewhere on holiday. Local shops didn’t have 3L cylinders, steramine, virkon and sofnolime was hard to source. Thankfully times have changed with airline rules maturing rather than relaxing and many dive operators can accommodate rebreather divers. If you give us enough prior notice , we can help of course.
Bring your own equipment
If you already have your own underwater scooter, sea scooter, DPV, action camera, drone or underwater housing, bring it along and we can help you test it and get more from it. Our aim is to help visitors and local divers in North Cyprus use their equipment with more confidence, better performance and greater enjoyment.
