Advanced Courses

The Advanced Open Water course is the 2nd level of license you can achieve as a diver. This course provides divers with a structured means to explore special diving interests and gain dive experience. Once comfortable with basic skills, divers want to conquer new tasks, see different creatures, journey into diverse environments and experience new adventures.

Because divers look for convenience and flexibility in continuing their diving education, the program allows divers to choose the dives that interest them and to sample activities under instructor guidance. Some divers may choose to make only one Adventure Dive. To achieve this license you must complete a minimum of 4/5 speciality dives, these include Deep, Navigation, Drift, EANX, Wreck, Fish Identification, Night and many more

We have all had that one dive where we have had to finish early when we are still at 90/100 BAR still in our tank right? Well with Nitrox or Enriched Air we can extend our bottom time by changing what we are breathing in our tanks. Sounds cool right? Well pop on down and our instructors will be more than happy to explain what Nitrox is and why its a crucial part in our later diving career.

With this license you will be qualified to breathe enriched air with an oxygen content up to 40%. Increasing the amount of time we can stay at depth before we come close to the dreaded deco.

This course includes an in depth detailed classroom and pressentations on Nitrox and all it entails followed by an optional dive then an exam.

The rescue diver course is the most fun you will have while learning scuba diving as well as creating some amazing and funny stories to tell your friends, family and dive buddie.

Over the course of the Rescue Diver training you will learn about how to keep yourself safer as well as other people you will dive with by training how to rescue unconscious divers, perform CPR and 1st aid not just in the water when diving but also in everyday life.

Picture this! you’re walking along and someone in your friend group or even a bystander falls unconscious. Would you know what to do? probably not right. well after this course you will be qualified to give primary 1st aid and possibly save their life.

This course is brilliant fun and you will learn so much during it, it is the last course of the main 3 but definitely not the end of your diving career, specialities, professional courses and even technical diving awaits you.

The deep diver course is designed to teach you how to dive to the maximum recreational depth of 40 Meters, in this course you will learn all the standards and procedures about diving to greater depths and exploring what the ocean has to offer at these depths.

Deep diving can be a little intimidating but with this course you will learn to master all the techniques and procedures that you need to travel down to these depths, this course paves the path and the interest to get even deeper where technical diving is needed, air running out fast? double your tanks, Bottom time running out too fast? Advanced Nitrox. Any thing you can think of, there is something to learn and to further your SCUBA diving knowledge and skill.
